I did however, have the opportunity to create my Professional Portfolio website using Weebly. I worked inserting graphics and created tabs and links following the instructions from the course's website.
Due to inclement winter weather, I was not able to meet with Kelvin Hughley (field supervisor) this week. I did have email communication with him and we will plan to meet next week for a continuation with my field work.

This week I was able to sit down and discuss with Kelvin Hughley, a Technology Specialist in my school system, about being my field supervisor for my M.Ed. He was excited for me and gladly said yes. We went over many of the requirements I am to complete including the 100 hours of field time. He was very understanding and offered a few suggestions. We will plan to meet again the following week to work on a calendar of events. Even though I feel a little overwhelmed, I know this semester will be very rewarding.
In addition to meeting with Kelvin, I printed many materials from the course's syllabus and website. I organized a notebook with the printed sheets and created a calendar of things to do and remember. Well Alex...I made it to final Jeopardy and the answer is 100 hours in the field! So, the question must be...What is my last and final course for obtaining my M.Ed. in Instructional Technology where I'm to shadow, model, document, and produce evidence of my knowledge of the program?
There's lots to do so I'll began by keeping a "To Do List" in calendar order. I will also contact next week one of our Technology Specialists - Kelvin Hughley, about being my Field Supervisor. Meantime, I read the syllabus, content, calendar, and website for the course. |
