Technology-Enhanced Unit
Assignment Summary:
For this practicum assignment I was required to create a curated toolkit of content-based and technology-based resources to be incorporated with a unit of instruction. I chose to work with Visual Art Unit, The Language of Art: Elements of Art and Principles of Design. For this unit students are to create a digital book demonstrating the art elements and design principles. I used the curation tool Blendspace as a means for delivering content information and technology choices for students. Students were encouraged to create their digital book using their choice of a Web 2.0 tool such as: Prezi, Sliderocket, PowToon, Animoto, Slideshare, Brainshark, etc. This unit is designed to last two weeks with the digital book assignment lasting four to five days.
