I worked with a group of 10 participants including my field supervisor, Kelvin Hughley, and variety of elementary teachers who worked in grades K-5 as well as a media specialist, art teacher, and technology teacher. The workshop pertained to the implementation of the Web 2.0 tool, Storybird and how it can help engage students and improve their reading, writing, and literacy skills. The artifacts below show evidence of my workshop including: an informational PowerPoint, Instructional Goal, Task Analysis, UbD Unit Plan, and a Summary Report. Within the artifacts you will find tutorial instructions (step-by-step), standards met, measurable learning outcomes, assessment and evaluation strategies, data results, recommendations, and self-reflection.
